Description

Coexisting With Local Furbearers – Good Practices in Management and Intervention

In spite of urban and residential sprawl and the impact of today’s leisure activities, several species of furbearers have adapted to human presence and major changes to their natural habitats. As an evolved species, what prevents human from adapting to the presence of fur-bearing animals in our immediate environment? The FTGQ and MDDEFP have produced this manual in the hope that those affected will suscribe to the notion of coexisting with local furbearers (CAFE), which requires a drastic shift in mentalities and greater diversity in humans’way of doing things.

Are humans up to the challenge? before we are forced to mange the problems facing our neighborhood, let’s try to coexist with our fur-bearing neighbours!
